The RFX Pro Series oil filter housings are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium for increased dimensional stability under high heat and pressure.
The RFX filter housings also feature an enhanced flow design for better oil circulation.

Fitting instructions:
- Drain the oil according to the maintenance manual.
- Carefully remove the old filter housing, taking care not to damage the sealing surface of the engine housing.
- Remove the O-ring, clean it, and install it on the new filter housing.
- If the oil filter is being replaced, remove it along with the retaining springs and dispose of the filter.
- Clean the interior of the filter housing and inspect for any signs of wear; the presence of metal shavings may indicate excessive engine wear.
- Soak the new oil filter in fresh engine oil.
- Install the new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter housing.
- Recheck the oil level according to the maintenance manual.
