The ELEPHANT TOUR shines as a compact, high-quality tank bag for everyday use. It convinces with streamlined design, sustainable fabrics and manufacturing processes as well as further optimised functionality and variability. The main compartment of the tank bag made of CORDURA® TrueLock™ has a volume of 10 litres. The shape-stabilising insert reliably protects the contents and prevents any bulging or flapping at high speeds. Our proprietary blue lining ensures clarity. The ELEPHANT offers a retention system similar to the military Molle system and accommodates additional pockets – such as our top pockets – if required. It is complemented by a practical, elasticated luggage net. As usual, the zips are water-repellent and fitted with ergonomically shaped, easy-grip zips. You don’t have to do without the water-repellent cable grommet for an electrical supply or smartphone charging cable, or the carrying harness that turns the tank bag into a shoulder bag beyond the motorbike.

The novel CORDURA® TrueLock™ fabric that we use for the first time for the ELEPHANT consists of high-strength nylon 6.6 multi-filament nylon fibres produced in an extrusion process. In this continuous process, the added colour is virtually “locked” into the fibre, i.e. firmly bound. This eliminates the need for downstream, stressful dyeing and washing processes. The process developed by CORDURA® inventor INVISTA for the production of CORDURA® TrueLock™ thus conserves resources by reducing the use of water and energy, it reduces CO2 emissions, and at the same time increases durability, service life and hard-wearing properties. The new fabric has a further optimised, excellent colour fastness, colour permanence and UV stability. Fade and abrasion resistance have also been further improved.
